I get an "Invalid username or password" when using HiDrive backup plugin package with Synology Diskstation.
I know that what I have put in to the fields are correct, but I still get "Invalid username or password" popup. Anyone knows if I need to open firewall or other to get this working?
Hi, I think i have this figured out. You need to go to the hi drive website and login. Then go to account and then settings. you should see a protocol option. Make sure rsync over SSL is checked. Actually just check them all.

Gee Craig you are still here lying and causing problems for people. I lost money paying for the 5Gb package which does not support Rsync. HiDrive kept my money.
As you have been told before nick , rysnc is now available in the 5 GB pay packages , so please stop giving falsch information . What you have not metioned is we offered to refund you but you refused to give us your bank details so we could pay you back.
HiDrive staff, please update your website or your package description to indicate that the Synology plugin is not available to use for FREE accounts. This is misleading; I signed up for an account for this purpose, and I won't use it without the Syno package. Wish I'd known this ahead of time.
Here it is clearly stated under "Technical Details" that the Rsync protocol is not offered within the Free account. This is only offered within the paid packages.
Hi I purchased Hidrive 20 and even it is paid service I am not able to activate rsync over SSL either. Should I wait the change from free version applies or the version Hidrive 20 does not have this functionality? it@memsep.cz
